About Francesco Sanfilippo

I have been a web developer for 11 years, creating world-class Internet applications and web sites.

In 1997, I created Photorealm, one of the first communities on the Internet to support photo, video, and blogging.

From 1999 to 2004, I led development of a learning management system used by Banfield Pet Hospital, PetSmart, the American Council on Exercise, and the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.

In 2004, I developed URL123, an advanced link shortening service handling millions of clicks every month.

In 2005, I worked on financial and banking software at Western Financial.

In 2006, I joined Omedix as Chief Software Architect, leading development of web applications for medical practices and patients, and I am currently still with Omedix.

I have also done work for the Ohio Department of Health, ImageKind, RateItAll, and Starbucks.

I currently live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I enjoy cooking, traveling, photography, music, DVDs, tattoos, and dogs.
